[ CHARACTER INFORMATION ]
Name: Sion Eltnam Atlasia
Age: 18 years old
Gender: Female
Canon: Melty Blood
Timeline: Post Melty Blood: Actress Again
Background:
http://typemoon.wikia.com/wiki/Sion_Eltnam_Atlasia
It's a fighting game so...lol history.
Personality:
The first thing someone might notice is that Sion has spent almost all of her life alone. Not only was this exile self-induced but her schoolmates also connived against her because her predecessor, who was the head of the Atlas Academy, became a vampire willingly. Because of this, Sion is extremely socially inept. When she speaks to others, it often seems like she’s talking down to them or lecturing them when she thinks it’s just a normal conversation. This makes Sion seem imperious but she’s just trying to explain her own actions.
In terms of associating with others, Sion falls under the class of being “violently tsundere”. She’s not used to experiencing emotions such as love and affection so when they come at her, they hit her with the force of a semi-truck. And she pushes back just as hard, often pulling out her gun and threatening Shiki when he compliments her on her good looks or anything similar. This obviously applies to nearly anyone she associates with.
To compliment her amazing intelligence, Sion really, really hates to be wrong. If you ever insinuate that she is wrong or doing something incorrect in the slightest bit, she will blow up into a ball of rage. She has an extremely short temper and it’s very simple to light the fuse, intentionally or unintentionally. Stupidity and lack of rational thought will also cause her to see red. Not only that, she's pretty critical on correcting others of their mistakes. When Shiki calls her a 'bastard', she gets offended not because of the insult, but because he used the wrong gendered insult and subsequently chews him out for that.
Despite being not being liked at the Academy, she worked her butt off and became the head, just like her predecessor Zepia. That is why she carries the last name “Atlasia” since it is given to all heads of Atlas Academy. She deals with the politics and backstabbing involved with the position every day and it doesn’t seem to leave the normal wear and tear on her that it would on others. She is also extremely intelligent and only deals in facts. Of course, in the Type-Moon Universe, a lot of fantasy is fact so it covers a very broad realm when taken in effect to the canon.
Beyond that, Sion is also very well known for being very efficient, even if it means cheating. Equipped with etherlite, Sion bypasses researching topics by using the etherlite to jack into the brains of others that have researched the appropriate topic and “downloads” their information. This method is extremely forbidden by Atlas Academy but Sion doesn’t care, despite being one of their leaders, because the only other way to figure out this information would be too time consuming.
Why is your character a good fit for the setting of Soul Campaign, and what will they do once they are in the game?
Sion will be indifferent to the war. However, she strives to learn nearly everything about the supernatural as she can, hoping that whatever bits she can pick up will bring her closer to finding a cure for vampirism. Considering that her canon is based around defeating foes so she can learn more about them, she'll question and/or beat up whomever in hopes of learning some crucial bit of information that could lead her to a cure.
List the abilities your character will still have in Soul Campaign:
→ The ability to calculate the future. It's not a supernatural ability but it more pertains to her genius. She uses a complicated mathematical equation to calculate the probability of certain actions happening and acts upon the things that have the highest probability of happening. In fights, this makes her very dangerous but the moment someone figures out the trick and starts acting erratically, she's thrown for a loop.
→ With that comes the ability to multitask her thought processes, enabling her to think of many things at once, making her brain far more efficient. Once again, that's an ability based upon her own brainpower and not upon the supernatural.
List the weaknesses your character will gain (or lose) in Soul Campaign:
→ As Sion is no longer a vampire, she loses her ability to regenerate minor wounds, move beyond human limits, and have strength beyond human limits. As a bonus, she loses her bloodlust, which she specifically hates.
→ Without the more supernatural properties of her etherlite, she cannot 'soulhack' which is digging deep into someone elses mind and retrieving all their thoughts and memories.
[ WEAPON ]
Soul Description:
Inquisitive, strict, genius, short-tempered, methodical, efficient
Sion's soul has long hair and wears the same beret that Sion keeps equipped on herself on a daily basis. Its color is gold tinged with a blood red.
(Weapon Form) / Ability:
Weapon: Sion, in the form of a weapon, will be an Egyptian Was (a staff, sort of) topped with a falcon head that is six feet long. No sharp blades but relying on blunt force.
For her ability, the more often she comes in contact with whomever is her opponent, the more she learns about how they fight and react. Using this information, she can make more accurate predictions of how they act in the future. If she resonates well with the meister, she will learn more and more upon each clash, making her predictions come faster and more accurate. However, if she does not, the information comes as junk information that distracts her and, in turn, causes problems for the meister.
[ SAMPLES ]
First-Person
Vampires and Dead Apostles are both interesting creatures. They are created by a Dead Apostle feeding on a human and then sharing his or her energy. Even then, a person must have a high enough magic potential to become a Dead Apostle. Or they must have some level of genetic relations with their 'parent'.
If anyone has any different information on this subject, I would be grateful to hear it. With proper compensation, of course.
Any information on the supernatural in general would be highly appreciated with that. I am willing to exchange stories if someone wishes to do so.
[Learning more was key to finding a cure to vampirism. Just one helpful clue could break the wall she was stuck at and a whole world of new people could be the key that she needed.]
Third-Person
Sion had listened intently at the explanation given to her. As of now, there was no reason to disbelieve a thing and missing any pertinent information could mean death in the future. That was how the alchemist had always led her life. The last time she had lost her cool...
...that was something she avoided thinking about. Her mind cut off that thought process, ending it before it brought up any suppressed urges that may or may not still exist inside her. Even if her powers were gone as the person said, she didn't want to chance fate and be the only one who somehow retained anything. Even the slightest link could cause an inversion.
But a war with witches. That was unexpected. Sion knew that magi had occasionally gone rogue but it was not the duty of Atlas Academy to handle rogue magi. That was left to the Clock Tower, even if they were all part of the Mage's Association. However, if she could get the answers she sought, Sion did not care what fights that were arrayed against her in the future. No, instead, she would like to see what new skills and abilities others in her situation may show off. They could give her the clue she was looking for.
Yes, that would be it. As long as she kept a straight head, certainly with such a magic and power charged environment, someone would have the answer she sought. The cure to vampirism. With it, she could fix her own issues and return Satsuki to being a normal human. With a nod, she gathered up what she could. The first step was to figure out whether she was a 'weapon' or a 'meister' though she had her own predictions on that. Once that was discovered, she would partner up with the most efficient person available and then gather samples. Then she would find these witches and this Demon Tool and get the answers she sought.
